NEW HAVEN POLICE ARREST SUSPECT WANTED IN PONTIAC, MICH. HOME INVASION
(8/9/2007) NEW HAVEN- Shortly after 1p.m. today, New Haven Police arrested Tommy Torres, a suspect wanted by the Pontiac, Mich. Police department in connection with a July 17th home invasion. New Haven Police received a phone call this afternoon alerting them that Torres, 40 years-of-age, was in the city. Pontiac police have been looking for Torres on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and breaking and entering charges. New Haven Police made a positive identification and took Torres into custody in the Chapel and Mill Streets area of Fair Haven. New Haven police have been cooperating with the police department in Pontiac to ensure that Torres faces the outstanding charges against him.
